Ministries Make a Difference

Children are introduced to the Bible so that they grow in knowledge of Jesus Christ as our Saviour and and be led by his Grace. The Church School is a ministry that aims to teach liturgy and provide guidance to children aged 2 to 14.

Boys and Girls Brigade is a Christian uniformed organization seeking to realize a better working relationship with Boys and Girls in the Church. Physically it promotes good health, relaxation through physical activities. Social–promotes service to the community and the church. Spiritual to present Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour.

Zimmerman Youth Fellowship (ZYF) is the youth church, which was established in response to a desire for a lively fellowship in which members aged below 35 years may connect and grow with one another in matters of God and life. Expect one of the best experiences of your life as we explore a treasured depth of God in our youth fellowship.

PCMF is a men’s fellowship with a clear mission to attract, lead, and develop men to Christ. It seeks to transform men through Jesus Christ. The goal of P.C.M.F. GROUP is to bring all men together in the Christian fraternity so they can serve Our Lord in the men’s fellowship ministry by reaching out to all men and empowering them to take responsibility for guiding their families to the word of God. Expect one of the best experiences of your life as we explore a treasured depth of God in our youth fellowship.

Woman’s Guild is a fellowship of ladies and girls of the PCEA church. In Kenya, the group was started in 1922 with the goal of rescuing young girs from the oppressive traditions and bringing them to Christianity. The group is founded on God’s Word from Romans 12:11-13 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality

Attending to health emergencies through first aid to Church members during the Worship Services or any other Church activity. Updating the Church members on current issues on health through health talks, posting of health tips in the Sunday bulletin and provision of relevant IEC materials. Offering health services to Church members and surrounding community through organized medical camps.

The Christian Education Committee is an integral committee in the P.C.E.A. church whose role is to educate the members on various areas. At the Central Committee, the Group is coordinated by the Director of Christian Education who works hand in with the Central Christian Education Committee, whereas, the Moderator of the General Assembly is the Chaplain of the Group.

The PCEA Justice, Peace and Reconciliation Committees have been created to promote justice, peace and reconciliation in our communities. They will also assist and encourage the members of the Church and the followers of Christ to become reconciliator, defenders of justice, truth, sanctity if life and human rights and dignity. They will sensitise the congregations to speak out against any misuse of public resources, economic and political power to suppress the rights of the people r to oppress them.

The Presbyterian Church of East Africa is an evangelical church and believes in missionary work and proclamation of God’s Word to reach and change the world through the Gospel of regeneration. To this end the Evangelism department in the Church has been set aside and tasked with the responsibility of advancing God’s kingdom by propagating the Gospel.
